Rates are subject to change without notice and are non-negotiable. Any booking not secured by a deposit will be subject to rate changes, regardless of how far in advance the booking was created if not secured and confirmed by a member of staff.
Any discount given is at the discretion of management. Discounts or promotions may be subject to different cancellation policies. Christmas/New Year period rates are subject to independent cancellation policies, available on request.
All payments are non-refundable.
All credit card payments incur a 1% surcharge.
The outstanding balance of all bookings is due in full on arrival. Partial payments are not accepted. If this payment cannot be made in full, the booking must be adjusted to the length able to be paid for on arrival, subject to the Cancellation Policy.
Payment on arrival can be made by cash, debit card or credit card; however, a valid credit card is still required on file.
All deposits will be charged to the credit card provided upon booking, unless the guest attends the hostel in person to pay by cash at the time of booking. If paying by cash, a credit card on file is still required to secure the booking. All deposits are subject to the Refund Policy, and will be charged immediately after the booking is received by the hostel.
Cancellations will not be processed without written confirmation. Telephone cancellations will not be confirmed until a written request has been received. Following a written cancellation request, ensure you receive a cancellation confirmation email from us, to certify the request has been received and processed.
Bookings created through Hostelworld or Hostelbookers: If cancelled up to 24 hours before arrival date, the deposit paid to Hostelworld upon booking will be lost. If cancelled or modified within 24 hours of arrival date or in case of no-show, the cost of 1st night’s stay will be charged as a penalty.
All other booking methods: If cancelled or modified up to 24 hours before date of arrival, 30 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged. If cancelled or modified within 24 hours of arrival date or in case of no-show, 50 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged as a penalty.
All payments are strictly non-refundable. Payments made towards all bookings can be obtained in the form of reservation credit only for any nights cancelled. Cancelled nights to be used as credit are subject to the Cancellation Policy and must be requested with over 24 hours’ notice, or the first night’s credit will be forfeited. Reservation credit granted is subject to the Reservation Credit Terms. Any payment made in advance for a booking remains non-refundable, regardless of how far ahead of time the payment was made.
Reservation Credit Terms
Guest(s) must elect a specific date in the future (within 12 months) in order to use reservation credit.
Guest(s) can modify the date up to 24 hours prior to the booking date. If you wish to modify your booking after this period, the first night’s credit will be forfeited. In the event of a ‘no-show’, all credit will be forfeited.
It is possible to make separate bookings for non-consecutive nights (i.e. if you have a total of 5 nights in credit, you can make two separate bookings for 2 nights and 3 nights).
The booking credit is subject to availability of rooms. If you wish to modify the current booking date, contact us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The booking credit is subject to rate increases. If the room rate increases for your booking date, the charges will be applied to your reservation.
One valid form of government issued photo ID is required from all guests checking in, and a valid credit card is required to be held on file. In the case of group bookings, only one credit card is required. The credit card holder of both individual and group check-ins must sign the Arrival Form in agreement with the terms and conditions of the House Rules and in agreement with the provision of a valid credit card. Failure to provide a valid ID and credit card and failure to sign the Arrival Form will result in check-in being declined.
Any guest wishing to secure a booking using a credit card with a name that does not match their own ID must contact the hostel directly for further information.
Any underage guests (exception made for school groups) must provide a signed parental consent form with the credit card and ID of the signing parent or guardian attached. Contact the hostel in advance.
